The paddle I used to stir the vodka sauce was big enough to row across a river! The Big Paddle with the Big Hearted Volunteers who made it such a great event Barilla Penne Pasta cooked 'al dente' is perfect for the Vodka Sauce Making sauce for some 250 people was quite a task.  I needed some extra 'leverage' to make sure things were coming together in that huge pot! Me mixing the sauce and pasta together along with Peggy Murray, the Director of Religious Education for the Parish who made the invitation. More and more mixing, requiring even more help from other volunteers! At the conference I celebrated 2 Masses, One Presentation, a cooking demo, and a great number of book signings! God continues to bless our Grace Before Meals mission! Here’s a picture of Mama & Papa Slavinkas – the mother of seminarian   Jonathon Slavinskas.  They made a wonderful Italian meal for the whole   seminarian community!
